Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) Projects: To find out specifically how your participation in the Ticket to Work Program could affect your disability benefits, you may contact a WIPA project in your state. WIPA staff can also answer any questions you have about going to work and SSA Work Incentives. You can find a list of the WIPA projects by state using the Service Provider Directory.
WISE events: Work Incentive Seminar Events (WISE) are community events held by WIPAs. These are held for beneficiaries with disabilities and their families to learn more about available work incentives through accessible, informal learning opportunities. Employment: If you are ready to explore work, please visit our Resources Map to find the Employment Networks (EN) near you. You can contact any EN in your area to see if the services and supports they offer are right for you. Don’t get discouraged if the first EN you talk to doesn’t seem to be a good fit. You can talk to as many ENs as you need to in order to find the right one for you. If you are interested in finding out about your options, you have nothing to lose by talking to some ENs to see what they have to offer.
