GSA General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software and Services

GSA’s Information Technology Acquisition Center manages the Group 70 Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) for Information Technology equipment, hardware and professional services. The primary mission is to make it as easy as possible for federal customers to purchase state of the art Information Technology products and professional services.

All contracts awarded under the MAS program are compliant with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and in accordance with the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA). Contract periods are five (5) years plus three separate five (5) year option periods.

The MAS IT schedule supports federal customers on a worldwide basis. Since there is no maximum order limitation, customers can utilize the MAS vehicle to support large-scale multi-million dollar development systems.

Job Title: Expert Consultant I

Minimum/General Experience: Fifteen (15) years of experience supervising employees. Experience in management and consultation in improving technical efficiency of the various systems.
Functional Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing standards and regulatory management. Provides leadership and technical expertise in the improvement of data systems and testing.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for three (3) years of experience.

Job Title: Project Director I

Minimum/General Experience: Fifteen (15) years of experience supervising employees. Experience in communication, program management, and development.
Functional Responsibilities: Management of project development, sets project plans, communicates and reports project status and establishes performance goals, metrics, and baselines.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for three (3) years of experience.

Job Title: Project Director II

Minimum/General Experience: Ten (10) years of experience supervising employees. Experience in communication and program management and development.
Functional Responsibilities: Manages project development, sets project plans, communicates and reports project status, and establishes performance goals, metrics, and baselines.

Job Title: Project Manager

Minimum/General Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in management support.
Functional Responsibilities: Responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing, planning, and staffing. Exercises the technical capabilities of the staff in developing solutions. Serves as liaison between client and project staff.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Job Title: Senior Engineer/Team Lead

Minimum/General Experience: Six (6) years of experience in engineering-related activities and the analysis of data and implementation of solutions.
Functional Responsibilities: Serves as a point-of-contact for all task order activities, manages work of contractor staff, develops team objectives, and studies on network topology. Monitors the performance of supported systems and devices and provides recommendations for improvement or change. Provides insight and leadership.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.

Functional Responsibilities: Performs as lead specialist on Help Desk activities, troubleshoots, installs new equipment, provides diagnostic service, and advises on communications. Maintains data, provides resolutions, and provides support for remote LAN access.
Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.

Job Title: Personal Computer Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Experience installing and maintaining Windows and DOS based microcomputers and equipment. Knowledge of IBM computers and software. Ability to communicate with customers.
Functional Responsibilities: Performs help desk troubleshooting, installs new equipment, assists in maintaining data, provides resolutions wherever possible.
Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field or relevant experience.

Job Title: Support Technician

Minimum/General Experience: Experience using computers. Must have knowledge in WordPerfect for Windows, Quattro Pro, Presentations and knowledge of 32-bit operating systems desirable.
Functional Responsibilities: Develops flowcharts, maintains systems and documentation libraries, develops spreadsheets, and prepares presentations.
Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree or relevant experience.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant I

Minimum/General Experience: One (1) year of experience writing and analyzing documents.
Functional Responsibilities: Supports all areas of the technical staff. Assists in the preparation of deliverables.
Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree or relevant experience.
