Ticket to Work and Work Incentives
Advisory Panel Conference Support
The Panel is a group
of 12 volunteer citizens with disabilities, advocates,
professional experts and service providers, each with
a wide variety of knowledge and experience on work incentives,
employment and issues facing people with disabilities.
This panel provides recommendations to the President,
the Senate and the House of Representatives on issues
related to work incentive programs, planning and assistance
for individuals with disabilities.
CESSI provides conference
support for the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Advisory
Panel’s quarterly meetings.
These meetings are open to the public and are in accordance
with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Success of the
Advisory Panel quarterly meetings are based upon expert
coordination in the following areas:
- Selecting a fully accessible conference site that best
fits the meeting needs and objectives
- Finalizing audiovisual services and coordinating details
for conference sessions with the hotel
- Coordinating food and beverage, meeting room space,
and accessible lodging support
- Providing signage support as required
- Organizing breakout rooms when coordinating the meeting
with the hotel
- Making assistive listening device and recordings available
to meeting attendees
- Making travel arrangements for invited guests and speakers
- Providing personal assistance for panel members and
meeting attendees
- Offering sign language interpretation to meeting attendees
- Compiling and coordinate printing requirements with
vendors
- Providing post conference reports to include court
report writing services
