TARGET Center receives RESNA Leadership Award

RESNA honored the USDA TARGET Center with its Leadership Award for outstanding leadership in providing assistive technology services and information to the employees of the Department of Agriculture and other federal agencies. The award is inscribed with “RESNA leadership award given to the USDA TARGET Center for its leadership, vision, commitment and significant contributions to the field of assistive technology, June 2003.”

RAIS Team Recognized for Delivering Web-based Applications on Time and Within Budget

CESSI's RAIS (Registered Apprenticeship Information System) team was recognized for their efforts on developing the RAIS system.

Each team member received a plaque with a clock that was engraved with the following:

USDA Agency Small Disadvantaged Business Award Winner

In 2001,CESSI was the "Contractor of the Year" for the Office of Procurement and Property Management for the Department of Agriculture. CESSIoperates the TARGET Center, an assistive technology center, for USDA. Former Vice President Al Gore identified the TARGET Center as a Best Practices Center.
